The Hauge Conference 2026

When values become value

Two days together with people who want faith to shape their work. Not as a private matter, but as something that forms how you lead, how you build and how you decide.

The Hauge Conference brings together leaders, founders, investors and community builders who want to unite faith, leadership and value creation. Join us in exploring how Christian values can create value for people, businesses and society.

What people take away

“A meeting place where all of me — my role and my faith — can be addressed and expressed.”
“The Hauge Conference has given me valuable relationships that have helped me forward in my work as a leader.”
About the conference

In Matthew 25:14–30 Jesus tells his disciples an illustrative story. It is about the value of stewarding what you have been entrusted with.

It echoes the cultural mandate in Genesis 1:26. We were given something, and we were given it for a reason:

  • we are made in God’s image,
  • to resemble God,
  • so that we can serve.

For throughout history God has used great people to do extraordinary things. But to an even greater degree he has used ordinary people to do ordinary things, with extraordinary goodness. It might be the invoice paid on day 14 when the terms said 60. The client turned down because it was the right thing to do. The colleague who was kept through a weak half-year. The honest, caring word about the culture in the company.

God invites us to take part in his story, and to reflect him in the world — including in our thousand workplaces.

That is why the Hauge Conference exists. Two days where we look closer at what we have been given, practise imagining what our workplace can mean, and go home with something we can actually do.

A room for faith at work

We want to see a clearer language for what faith at work actually looks like.

A network that wants something

Plenty of time to meet people, and good input from people who know their field.

A legacy to build on

Stories, conversations and lived experience as tools and perspective.

Conversation between participants

“He built factories, created jobs and strengthened local communities by building his rhythm of life on prayer and work.”

The legacy
1796

In the spring of 1796 Hans Nielsen Hauge stood alone in a field. There he met God, and that encounter changed more than his own life. It set in motion a movement that shaped people, working life and society.

It was not the elite who carried the movement forward, but farmers, craftsmen and traders. Ordinary people in ordinary jobs, who built companies and took responsibility for those around them.

The same spirit lives on today — in living out faith in our work and using our competence for the good of others.

Modern Haugeans

Ordinary people in ordinary jobs, rooted in the same spirit that once began in a field.

Prices go up on 10 October. Register while they last.
